Just got an acer aspire es 14 and wanted to reinstall windows 10. set up a bootable usb with windows 10 image using rufus. everytime i try to boot, it always opens up the current win10 set up. i. Under the boot menu, select legacy boot and press f10 save & exit. while the notebook is rebooting, press f2 again to enter the bios. under the boot menu, select as your first boot option the usb hdd stick (your usb stick)..

Acer aspire one netbooks can have two types of boot menus: device boot menus and partition boot menus. normally, your netbook automatically displays the partition boot menu if your hard drive has multiple bootable partitions, but a problem with your master boot record can prevent that.. Turn off your laptop. turn it on and press alt + f10 for factory recovery. the aspire e15 ships with windows 8 pre-installed as far as i can gather so i don't know why yours has linux on it.. Step. use the arrow keys to navigate to the "safe mode" selection on the "advanced boot options" menu. the arrow keys are located on the right-hand side of the acer aspire keyboard..
